Polská krev

Polská krev (Polish Blood) is considered to be the most popular and most played Czech opera.  It was composed by Oskar Nedbal and it was first performed in Vienna in 1913.

In 1934 a musical film was produced.

Tonight was a production at the Janáček Theatre and it was outstanding!

The story is a revenge plot that goes wrong and turns out well in the end.
