To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing the Brno Observatory and Planetarium is showing some moon and space related documentaries. From 19-22 July there's also Europe's largest model of the moon on display.
The inflatable model is 10 metres (~31 feet) wide. The detail is incredible. It was created using photos taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter which has been mapping the moon since 2009.
My train back from Bratislava Pride on Saturday was delayed. When I got off the tram by the observatory it was difficult to miss the brightness of the model. It's a shame that it's only on display for a few days.
Update: It came back in September so I got to see it in the day time too.

Update: In July 2021 the moon was back with the Earth and Mars.
