The Old New Synagogue

There's a memorial plaque on a building next to the Brno Trauma Hospital.  In 1906 the New Synagogue was opened.

The building was torn down in 1985 - 1986.  Today the building is part of the hospital.

Of the four synagogues that used to be in Brno, only the functionalist synagogue is has regular services.
